The name translates to big red robe: Legend has it that this tea cured the mother of a Ming dynasty emperor from an illness, so he sent red robes to protect the bushes from which it originated. This tea is hand-made by the Zhou family Tea Masters. This is a medium roasted Da Hong Pao and carries a mellow, fruity flavour with blackcurrant notes and a rich roasted aftertaste.
